What is it?
Calistar is a grading machine designed for larger volume applications, such as pre-sorting projects. All relevant components are situated above the product.
What does it do? How does it work?
The products rotate on the singulator in order to detect color, dimensions and quality. The Calistar grippers are located above the grader and gently pick up the graded products and transport them to the lateral conveyors. Then they are taken to the weighing unit, where their weight is recorded to an accuracy of 2 grams.
How can it help you?
The Calistar grippers are suspended above the grader, eliminating the risk of 2 products passing through the sorting process at the same time. It also enables the user to have total access for supply and removal of packaging materials and cleaning work. With 8 grabs per second, more lines beside each other, the Calistar is a high-speed grader that can handle large volumes.
